Dr. Nguyen graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, History, and Psychology. She received her Dual Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery with a Masters in Public Health at Columbia University’s School of Public Health in New York City. Her endodontic specialty education was at New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Ignatius N. and Sally Quartararo Department of Endodontics.
Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Currently, She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Endodontics, UC San Francisco; she has been teaching there for over ten years. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Board of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
